Dog Guards, Dividers and Tailgate Guards - we no longer make Dog Cages
We are aware that there is a strong second hand market out there for 'Guardsman' Dog Cages. We therefore understand that some cages will be utilised in vehicles and in ways that they were not designed for.
No-one wants to see any dogs injured so please be aware that the cage roofs are not designed for dogs to stand on. If you think there is the slightest chance that your dog can gain access to the cage roof please cover it with something rigid. We used to cover them with thick rubber or thin plywood but it needs to be strong enough to prevent the dogs claws/paws from getting caught in the mesh of the roof.

Our car dog cages are tailored to give maximum space and to provide your dog with a safe travelling environment. The dog will become familiar with the dog cage and will travel in a more contented manner. On many occasions we have been requested to make additional pet cages for use in the house as a dog has grown used to the car cage and looks upon it as their home.
The dog cage will also allow you to concentrate fully on the journey and will afford protection to everyone travelling in the event of an accident. As an added bonus your vehicle should remain in better condition for longer.
The dog cages are available with either single or multiple compartments. The double dog cages have a removable divider that converts the cage into one large compartment.
We use as standard 25mm gap mesh. This is a finer mesh than most of our competitors because we believe the greater the gap, the greater the potential for something to poke through.
We can offer a powder coated finish which is available in a variety of colours or at a premium bright zinc plated silver finish.
The custom guards and dividers are of the easy fit tension fitting style so they can be installed and removed easily.
The tailgate guards are installed with no drilling of the vehicle required. They are the only ones on the market that use his fixing method and are in daily use in hundreds of Guide Dogs vehicles.
